Recently we have published a new paper about Friedrich Froebel and the original Kindergarden in Blad-Blankenburg (Thuringia).
This little town in the middle of Germany was the ideal place to the development of Froebel’s pedagogy. The original idea was a school with a big place to the practice of the gardening and to make the first contact with the nature.
The childrens grew as plants and the teachers were like the gardeners, that was the metaphore of the Kindergarden.
